Margaret Priestnall of Brinnington

Will and Inventory of Margaret Priestnall of Brinnington - Died - 28th April 1730

Date of will - 11th September 1728

Proven at Chester diocesan consistory court on 9th May 1730

To Sarah Grooms (wife of Thomas Grooms of Heaton Norris), the sum of £4

To Sarah Grooms and her daughter Elizabeth Shelmerdine (wife of Samuel Shelmerdine), all my wearing apparrel.

To Thomas Shelemerdine (son of Samuel Shelmerdine) all her late husbands (William Priestnall) woollens.

To Martha Hooley and her two daughters, one shilling.

To Martha Wood, one shilling.

To Martha Jackson, one shilling.

To Elizabeth Priestnall, (sister in law), two shillings and sixpence.

To the sons of John Smith, three shillings.

To George ? (Alderman) forty shillings.

The rest to be sold and shared out.

The executors were Samuel Shelmerdine, and John Worthington, who both received forty shillings.
