On the 10th day of January 1872 Letters of Administration of all and singular the personal Estate and Effects of Sarah Priestnall (wife of George Priestnall) late of Newton in the Parish of Prestbury in the County of Chester, deceased, who died on the Seventeenth day of August 1870 at Newton aforesaid, Intestate, were granted at the District Registry attached to Her Majesty’s Court of Probate at Cheshire to the said George Priestnall of Butley in the Parish of Prestbury aforesaid, Farmer, the lawful husband of the said deceased, he having been first sworn duly to administer.
